INVERNESS WHISKY APPRECIATION SOCIETY
The Inverness Whisky Appreciation Society held their inaugural meeting on the 14th of August 2017 at the host and newly elected presidents resident at Smith Avenue.
Scott Fraser El President aka (Turkey) was at hand with a welcoming dram provided.The ideal setting was created with the tone of the night off to a great start.
The formalities of introductions were then addressed so that the the serious business of the constitution could be covered.
After presenting the reason why we like minded individuals had come together to form this well respected Society a few rules were was introduced to maintain order and respectability.
The positions of trust and roles were elected to ensure a smooth running of future operations.
The Society then got down to the serious business and the main reason it was formed. To drink and enjoy the different types of Whisky that are available out there.
After a few hours and some interesting discussions it was time for the society to call a close on their inaugural meeting. However some members decided to carry on in the spirit of things quite literally and made there way into town. However that is a story for another time.
